We started in May 2020 as a small group of Edinburgh friends

(via Syria, Australia, Germany, England and Edinburgh), brought together by a common goal: to share the city we love with those

in need of a place to call home.

Since then we’ve become a registered charity with a growing, diverse and active membership.

​

Our mission is to enable the resettlement of refugee families and individuals and provide practical support and a warm welcome to those arriving in Edinburgh.

 

What we do:
 

•   Sponsorship and Resettlement: We assist with the resettlement process, providing essential resources and support to help refugees settle smoothly into our community.

• Community Engagement: We host events and activities that encourage cultural exchange and foster connections between refugees and local residents.  

•    Advocacy and Awareness: We work to raise awareness about the possibilities of Community Sponsorship and engage with advocacy for supportive policies.
